Data we collect and why

We only collect the data needed to operate the site:

• your email address, when you sign up for the newsletter — based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time;
• the data required for your order (identity, addresses, email, payment), collected when you buy on the secure platform of our partner Shopify — based on the contract. Aeter never has access to your banking data;
• site traffic statistics — based on our legitimate interest in improving the shop.

Cookies

The site sets technical cookies needed for the cart and your language preference, as well as audience-measurement cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse them.

Recipients and retention

Your data is accessible only to authorised persons at Aeter and to our technical providers (e-commerce platform, hosting, audience measurement), hosted in the European Union or governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe and at most 3 years after your last contact with Aeter; traffic statistics, for at most 12 months; order data, for the applicable statutory periods.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data, as well as the right to set directives regarding its fate after your death.

To exercise them, or to unsubscribe from the newsletter, write to us at contact@aeter-paris.com; we will reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
